Tak Toms!! Thank you Toms!!
Efter nyheden om at Bulldogs i dag har tilknyttet Michael Eskesen som assistenttræner, og at Toms Strauss har valgt at tage nye udfordringer op i USA fra 1.april, har OIK følgende besked til sine medlemmer:
Toms kontrakt med OIK som cheftræner for U20/Divisionen stopper i udgangen af marts måned, og vi ønsker derfor Toms al mulig held og lykke med sit fortsatte hockeyvirke i USA.
OIK har haft glæden at have Toms tilknyttet klubben i en årerække. De seneste par sæsoner i en delt rolle som assistenttræner i Bulldogs, kombineret med at være cheftræner på OIK´s U20/Divisions hold.
Toms har også været en del af Kraftcenter-træningerne, Sommerhockeyskolen, diverse camps og meget meget mere.
Vi håber at Toms får en fantastisk tid i USA, og mon ikke vi har en plads klar til ham i trænerteamet hvis han vender "hjem" igen på tidspunkt.

Following the news today that the Bulldogs have assigned Michal Eskesen as the assistant coach, and that Toms Strauss has chosen to take up new challenges in the USA from 1 April, OIK has the following message for its members:
Tom's contract with OIK as head coach for the U20/Division ends at the end of March, and we therefore wish Toms all the best of luck with his continued hockey carrer in the USA.
OIK has had the pleasure of having Toms associated with the club for a number of years. The last few seasons in a shared role as assistant coach in Bulldogs, combined with being head coach on OIK's U20/Division team.
Toms has also been part of the Kraftcenter trainings, Summer Hockey School, various camps and much, much more.
We hope that Toms will have a great time in the USA, and we will much likley have a place ready for him on the coaching team if he returns "home" again at some point.
